While the low reflectance level of black make it the most effective color for baffle trims, white baffles have become the most popular option. The benefit of a white baffle is that the trim blends with the ceiling when the lights are turned off.

Liton Lighting offers a standard half-moon wall-wash trim in two different styles. The traditional style uses a stationary socket and a reflector to create a smooth illumination along the surface of the wall. The other style incorporates the use of a baffle and a socket bridge. The baffle reduces light glare and the socket bridge increases the aiming angle of the lamp to illuminate higher on the vertical surface.
